The Polar Express

For Christmas this year my parents took everyone on the POLAR EXPRESS up Heber Canyon.( Except Joleens family...Janeen was to small) It was so much fun and the kids (and adults) had a blast!! They served Hot CoCo and cookies, everyone wore their pjs and sang Christmas carols. We went to the North Pole and picked up Santa who visited each car and gave each child a special gift (a bell) It was such a fun trip and it was especially fun for us because ever since I was little we would read the Polar Express on Christmas Eve.
Lexie cheesing it for us!

The girls were so stinkin cute when Santa got on our car... Lexie had the best reaction and was so excited!!
 Excitement captured here...

not to leave out Lainey either she was pretty excited too...

St George Carosel

Mid November we got sick of the cold weather in Cedar and headed to St George for some warm weather fun. We went to the carosel downtown and rode it. It was so fun for the girls and was cheap too. Lexie was a little nervous at first...

 Lainey loved it!
and Lex eventually warmed up and had fun too...

We then went over to the tabernacle for a tour. The St George Tabernacle is special to my family because my great grandpa bought the windows for the building, its a really neat story and tour you should go visit ;)

Halloween 2011

We went to the Parowan pumpkin patch again this year but we went after the elementary schools went so they were really picked over! We were pretty disappointed with the selection and they went rotten after a couple days!

We ended up running to Walmart to pick up some to carve.

We went with the Princess theme this year...Here is our Cinderella and Snow White... Thanks to Aunt Sarah and Chis for helping us and letting us use their patterns!

We always love to make carmel appels in the fall after the apple fest! Here are my cute little helpers!

 All done
We made so many we had to share with everyone!! I think they were a hit!

Lainey wanted to be Mike from the movie Monsters Inc. and I always like to have the girls match with their costumes so Lexie was Boo... They looked so cute together!
